The Mission Field Of The Christian Wife

Sometimes our own family is our mission field... Your spouse's salvation is something that God considers a priority. An unequally yoked marriage is difficult, but not impossible. Begin at home by reaching your mate for Christ. Our words, actions, attitudes and love will lay the foundation for God to work in your marriage. Your unsaved spouse is your "mission". That relationship is foremost on God's heart . By faith, begin now...you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
Mission Possible is a "must have" book for any woman who is married to a man who does not share her passion for Jesus... Mission Possible is available through the authors website Alabaster Box Publishing

Vengeance Is Mine; I Will Repay, Saith The Lord

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

The River Of God Is Good

There is none likened unto the Lord. Full of love, of grace, of mercy, of hope, and of promises. He smiles upon His called, His chosen, His elect. His heart of compassion is opened unto His precious and beloved bride. For the Bridegroom, the Beloved Husbandman, our King, is a God overflowing with love, compassion and gracious thoughts towards us.

There is a mighty river that flows, that is flowing, that flows, which comes from the heart of God. There is a mighty river, that flows, which is flowing, that touches our hearts and changes our live. For the river of our God is good, and through and in Christ, we bask in His heavenly waters. Poured forth richly, even as deep cries out to deep.

Sometimes we stick our toes in to test the waters, and the Lord says; the river is good. Other times we go in ankle deep, and the Lord says; the river is good. Other times we go in waist deep and the Lord says; the river is good. Sometimes we hang onto a our safety bars, and the Lord says; the river is flowing. Come, come, come into the waters.

It's OK, we can let go of our safety bars, and trust Him, because the river is good, the river is flowing and the Lord is the river.

Drink deep beloved. Drink deep, the goodness of your God. Bask in His presence, in His love, in His compassion, and in His tender mercies.

When Things Start Shifting & The Ground Becomes Unstable

Jesus spoke of the man who built his house on solid foundation vs. the man that built his house on sand. One was built on rock solid foundation, while the other was not. Jesus went on to say that the house built on the solid foundation could withstand difficult times, that the winds could blow and the house would remain, but that the house built on sand would not stand and great would be the fall of it. Just imagine the endless situations and circumstances that this application could apply to.

Sometimes it's possible to start out on solid foundation and slowly be moved to unstable foundation. One way for this to happen is through compromise. We all occasionally compromise, however if we continue to walk in compromise it can cause a shift and that shift can lead to unstable grounds.

When this happens, we must examine situations, ourselves, and the path that we have taken. For it's easy to get off course in today's world.

The Ban Divorce Initative

I just read a article online from a high end California news paper that shared that a man is collecting signatures to have divorce banned in California. The article shares that it will require 694,354 signatures of registered voters to be collected by March 22nd of 2010 to get the measure of the ballad next year. Imagine that.

It's called the ELIMINATES THE LAW ALLOWING MARRIED COUPLES TO DIVORCE. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.

Any thoughts bloggers, leave a comment.

Studying The Many Different Occults

What is an occult? We hear the word in many circles, on television, in churches and even in forms of paranoia. However, what is the occult or a occult? What are the roots and history of the occult? and what does the Bible say about the occult?

In my online studies on the occult, I found that there are many different kinds of occults that hold many different beliefs systems. Many occults adapt different beliefs, systems of government and even cult symbols. Very much like corporations, social clubs, and even churches.

In all honesty, when it comes to the occult, there is no one occult, there are many. Of course satanism is considered a occult, and to dig into the depths and roots of satanism, the belief system and the overall practice of satanism is a intense study.

Truth is, there is so much information, the good, the bad and the down right silly regarding the occult, that you just have to take it in and make your own conclusion. However, let me encourage you to read and study sites that apply sound biblical advise and scriptural references.

Overcoming Depression

Depression is like a cancer. Once it sets in, it can overtake us and place us in bondage. Severe depression has a crippling effect. It steals and robs us of our joy and ability to experience happiness. Of course we could get into all the intense reasons and causes of depression. But enough of that.

I encourage those dealing with depression to enter into a place of prayer. What kind of prayer. Simply pray and talk to God. Tell him what you are experiencing and simply ask Him for help.

I encourage you to also find some praise and worship music that you like, listen to it and make it a part of your days. You see when we lift our voices up to God, give Him praise and worship Him. The Kingdom of God, meaning heaven, comes to earth. And when the Kingdom comes, depression leaves. Simply pray, worship and call upon Jesus!!!, and trust Him to do the rest.

Blessings, in the love of Christ

Noble Peace Prize

I'm at a loss. There are so many wonderful people that accomplish great things for humanity. People that sow goodness for years and years, for an entire lifetime, that make great sacrifices, and accomplish great things. Yet for some reason they are by passed and others that have accomplished very little seem to make the list.

One thing is for certain, the day will come when the books will be opened and rewards will be given and on that day many will see the true fruits that all have produced, from the least to the greatest.

That will be a day of beauty.

El Nino Just Might ....

You might recall the El Nino's of the past. Some meteorologists believe that we are in for another El Nino and that E Nino will bring rain to drought stricken parts of Texas. Well, after all the fires here in California, El Nino just might bring major rains, mudslides and flooding to California. This could be a very wet year coming this winter.

Sometimes the weather man hits the target, other times they miss. However, it would be wise to prepare in advance just in case we have a very wet winter with lots of severe weather and storms. Make provisions for your family, relatives and friends.

By Many Infallible Proofs

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

The Passion of Christ was shown in Christ's death on the cross at Calvary. Jesus paid the ultimate price. This Humble King that laid His life down as a randsome for many. For truly we have been bought with a price.

Feeding The Homeless

At the church we attend, I have watched the homeless outreach grow leaps and bounds over the years. I remember when it was simply two lockers, a table and some can food. Today around 150 families come each week to get food. There are two huge refrigeration units, Ilse of foods of all kinds and about 20,000 square feet set aside for outreach. It's amazing to see the love that pours through the homeless, food and food warehouse at our church.

It's also amazing to see what the new director is doing and all the changes that have come forth. The love, dedication and handwork that is being poured into and through the homeless outreach is amazing. People are being blessed, getting much needed food and are being ministered to and God gets all the Glory.

There are blessings overflowing when we reach out and help others in need.

Hitting The Mark While Running Life's Race

What a mad house life can occasionally be. The demands, responsibilities, schedules, work, financial responsibilities and every other aspect of life can be like a mad house. Then of course there are those hidden and unseen situations that arise. Ouch!

It's like being in a race, running the fast lane of life and trying to hit the mark. Problem is that fast lane just never seems to end, and whatever mark we hoped to hit or accomplish seems to get lost in the lane changes, off ramps and on ramps of the freeway system.

Let me encourage you. If life is getting the best of you, slow down. Take some time, relax and simply put things into perspective. I also encourage you to spend some time in prayer seeking God for His perfect will in your life. You see, when we get into the flow of God's river, the ride is so much easier and so filled with joy.

Bad Hair Day People

There's nothing worse than bad hair day people. People that are always looking for some dramatic situation to unfold to make their day seem worth wild. People that are always gossipping about the latest, meddling in other peoples affairs, pointing fingers at others, judging and creating drama. I just don't understand that mind set. As if peace, happiness and joy escape them. What kind of life is that?

Life is beautiful, it is wonderful and it is filled with wonder. Yes, there are those days, weeks and sometimes seasons, but why with intent create difficulties and hardships. Why light the fire, place the skillet on it and jump into the skillet. And the worst part, why expect others to jump into the skillet with you.

Trade your bad hair day mentality in for days of peace, balance, and sound mind.

Finding God In The Midst Of Difficulties

Very few people look towards God when things are going well. Truth is they are usually to busy and consumed to think about God. However, when times become difficult or troubles come, that's when we all seem to call out to God. Sometimes God takes the worst of situations and circumstances and turns them into blessings. We of course can't see this in the beginnings or as it's unfolding, but as time passes we do.

If your encountering difficulties let me encourage you to call out to God through times of prayer, worship and simply taking the time to share fellowship with Him. You just might find all your difficulties being turned into blessings as time passes.

How Do You Define Terroism

We've all heard about terrorism. It didn't start with 911 and the attacks against The United States. It started long ago. Even back in the days of Christ it was present and long before. Just imagine being taken hostage and fed to lions. Just imagine being taken hostage and forced to fight another human being to the death.

What about what was done right here in the United States. What about the Indian Nations, the wars? What about the slave trade and what was done to the people of the African nation that were brought here in chains and irons? What about abortion? Do not all these things qualify as terrorism?

I guess it depends upon how you look at it. I would imagine that even the people of Iraq, the everyday citizens, the mothers, father and children were terrorized. Just imagine a bomb killing your entire family and your just a child. I would imagine that every time a bomb falls on the innocent, they feel terrorized. So what is a terrorist? Is it a group of people that blow people up, blow up cars to kill people, that attack hotels, take hostages and so on? Yes, that is definitely a form of terrorism.

Personally, I feel that anytime a human being's life is being threatened regardless of the reason or so called justification. That is terrorism. Life, all life, should be held with the very highest of regards, respected, protected at all cost, not taken by acts of terror. And to sacrifice the innocent to root out the evil, is a great sin.

Love conquers all things, love overcomes all things, for love not killing, is the greatest of all gifts.

Touching The Nations Of The World In High Speed

Have you ever noticed how many times we seem to get into high gear before we shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd and to 4th. This happens in churches, in ministries and in our personal lives. Personally I have found God, my walk with God and the Christian life to be season after season of change and that God is in no hurry. Considering that Christ died upon the cross over 2,000 years ago and countless generations and seasons have unfolded, that in it's self proves that God is a patient God. After all, God could have judged the world 1,000 years ago and called His Bride home, yet here we are, still awaiting the second coming of Christ.

Many times, we just flat out get in a hurry. We get so far ahead of God, His plans and His purposes that we are creating our own agenda's while thinking and believing we are in God's Perfect Will. I've oftened wondered this in regards to the size of our online ministry which has grown to over 150 separate ministry blogs, not counting all the other blogging communities that we are involved within. Yet and again, I feel this overwhelming call to share the love of Christ and His Redeeming Passion with the world. If you have a passion to share Christ with the world, contact us. We are always looking for blog authors and writers to share the love and passion of Jesus on the Internet around the globe.

The Fruit Of Compromises
